AppsFlyer and Meta (Facebook) SDK

Measure installs from your ad campaigns.

Before you start

  • An AppsFlyer and/or Meta for Developers account

    AppsFlyer: get your dev key

    AppsFlyer → add your Android app using your package name.

    Settings → App settings → copy the Dev key.

    Paste it in Modules tab → AppsFlyer.

    Meta: get App ID and Client token

    developers.facebook.com → My Apps → Create app.

    App settings → Basic: copy the App ID. Advanced (or Basic → Client token): copy the Client token.

    Add Android platform with your package name. Paste both values in Modules tab → Meta SDK.

    Rebuild

    Rebuild, install and open the app — the first install appears in each dashboard within about an hour.

How to check it worked

  • A test install appears in AppsFlyer / Meta Events Manager

Common problems

No events

Check the package name matches exactly and that you installed the new build.
