What we collect
Account details you give us: your email address and display name when you create an account.
The content you upload to build your apps: website addresses, app names, package names, icons, splash screens, screenshots, signing keystores and store listing details.
Build records: the configuration of each build, its status, logs and the resulting APK/AAB files.
Billing data: your subscription plan and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider, Paddle — they never reach our servers.
How we use it — and our legal basis
To provide the service: building your Android apps, storing your assets and delivering your downloads. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
To manage your account, subscription and support requests. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a safe service.
To send service emails such as build failures and account notices. Legal basis: performance of our contract. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records. Legal basis: compliance with the law.
Data retention — how long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your apps, builds and assets are deleted within 30 days.
Build logs and generated APK/AAB files are kept while the related app project exists, and are removed when you delete the app or your account.
Billing and transaction records are kept for up to 7 years where required for tax and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
When data is no longer needed for any purpose above, we delete or anonymise it.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not read or index the websites you convert into apps beyond what is needed to detect sign-in settings you explicitly ask us to detect.
We do not use your app assets, keystores or listing content for any purpose other than serving you.
Security
Signing keystores are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket and are never publicly readable.
Passwords and keystore credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to your data is protected by row-level security: only you can see your apps and builds.
All traffic to AppifyWebsite is encrypted with HTTPS.
Your data, your control
You can delete your apps, builds and account at any time. Deleting an app removes its assets and build history.
You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Privacy policy for apps you build
If you publish an app built with AppifyWebsite, you are responsible for the personal data your website collects. You may list this page's URL as your privacy policy only if your app collects data solely through your own website; otherwise you should publish your own policy.
