In-app purchases
Sell subscriptions or items with Google Play billing from your website.

Before you start
- Pro plan
- App already uploaded to Play (at least a closed test)
- A Google Play payments profile

Set up a payments profile
Play Console → Settings → Payments profile. Complete it — purchases can't be created without it.

Create products
Monetize → Products → In-app products or Subscriptions → Create.
Pick a product ID (e.g. premium_monthly), a name and a price. Activate it.

Turn on the module
Modules tab → In-app purchase → switch on and list your product IDs.

Connect your website
Your website asks the app to start a purchase by product ID and receives the result. See the In-app purchase card for the exact message format to give your web developer.

Add testers
Settings → License testing → add your Gmail. Test purchases on that account are free.
How to check it worked
- A test purchase completes and your website unlocks the feature
Common problems
'Item not available'
The product must be active and the app installed from Play (closed test link), not from a downloaded file.
